About the event
Necto and partners the University of Michigan Arts Initiative and Spectrum Center are thrilled to present Drag as Resistance: Conversation & Performance in celebration of LGBTQIA2S+ History Month! The event, open to the public and held at Necto Nightclub, an inarguably essential establishment, and home for the local Queer community, is presented in conjunction with UM’s Arts & Resistance Theme Semester and will bring communities together to delve into the history, cultural significance, and personal experiences with one of the most attacked, yet celebrated artforms of our time: the art of drag.
